No camps? NO WORRIES! Our Mack team is on board for summer learning and summer fun!
This summer, our faculty and staff are offering a variety of virtual summer learning activities for Mackintosh families. These include summer reading groups, arts and crafts, read-alouds, baking, folk dance, math activities, and much more! With many libraries and summer camps closed, we want to support our school community by offering these opportunities.
Building on the success of our MackFLEX learning program, which was created to facilitate communication and instruction during the COVID-19 pandemic this spring, our staff is excited to stay connected with Mack students and prevent the “summer slide” with these fun summer learning activities. We hope these opportunities will help our students connect with each other and with our teachers as the summer progresses.
You can access the summer learning opportunities for your child’s class at the links below. Looking for summer reading lists and supply lists? You’ll find them there!
Due to COVID-19, we are not offering camps to the public during the summer of 2020. Please check back next year for camps on our newly-expanded campus! Our theater and arts additions will be open and ready this fall, and we look forward to offering campus that take advantage of these new facilities in the summer of 2021.
Past offerings have included Coding, Fencing, Wilderness Medicine Camp, Theater, LEGO Robotics, cooking, and the always-popular Mackintosh Summer Olympics by our own P.E. teacher, Patty Weston. Typically, we have welcomed students from across the Denver Metro area to our beautiful campus, nestled into a quiet Littleton neighborhood near C-470 and Santa Fe. We partner with a number of well-known, vetted summer camp providers to offer options that appeal to a wide variety of interests.
Please check back in Winter 2021 for information on our summer camps for next year. We would love to welcome you and your children to Mackintosh!
