ABOUT THE LITTLETON CAMPUS

Our beautiful five-acre campus is comprised of several smaller school buildings for an intimate, home-like feeling, conducive to exploration and discovery. Pre-K, Primary, and Middle Years students have their own dedicated spaces. The grounds host a fabulous playground and playing fields, a greenhouse, complete with water and electricity, and, thanks to a student-written grant, solar panels with monitoring system–our own Outdoor Science lab.  The Littleton campus also has a visual and creative arts studio, Spanish and performing arts space, and a gymnasium with a climbing wall. Open space is used for daily PE and plentiful outdoor activities.

Our campus was recently featured as a 5280 Magazine “School of Thought.” Other recent accomplishments and recognition include:

Every day when I arrive on our campus, I feel inspired to be part of this community of engaged learners—teachers, parents, and, most importantly our children. A sense of excitement and discovery is palpable on our Littleton campus, whether it involves fifth and sixth graders debating topics ranging from chewing gum to climate change, middle schoolers playing with fractals, first and second graders creating a cooperative mural about the epic of Gilgamesh, or Pre-K students greeting each other with the words I see the light in you. There is much joy here, a belief that questions are more important than answers, and that we share a mission to make the world a better place. To be in a leadership position at Mack Littleton, working with others to facilitate learning in this unique environment, is such important and meaningful work.
